Default Valve springs 918's vs. Patriot dual golds

I am putting together a 6L with ported 243 heads and a 218/224 .570/.584 114 lsa cam and I have to choose which valve springs to run. I have a set of new revised comp 918's but was wondering if I should go to the patriot dual golds. My question is, what are the pro's and cons vs the other.

Patriots seem to have a zilch record of breaking. Looks like a few are breaking the new comp's. I like to drive my motors hard so I don't need any high RPM failure. What are the negatives of the duals? Noisy? more brittle? More cam/lifter wear? Loss in horsepower? I just need some professional guidance as to what you guys think. My camshaft designer told me to run the new 918's (sold them to me) and my head porter told me to use the 918's. This forum seems to be against them and I've seen 2 pics now of the new ones breaking and failing. What do you guys think?

Duals are for peice of mind, ANY spring can break but they do have a fail safe to keep your valve in. Your not running a huge cam, the revised units are pushing further past the old limits. You will have no issue. Heat cycle the springs a few time for added insurance.

With that cam the 918's shouldn't have a problem. I have dual golds on my car and I would say they are a bit noisier.

Dual Golds are too much spring rate stick with 918's.

go with the golds if you don't want to worry. I see on here of way too many 918s breaking to trust an expensive engine with.

Don't go with Comp 918's but PAC 1218's if you want beehives with foolproof reliability.

Regardless of having too much spring pressure go with the Patriot or PRC duals.
