2 fast 2000

Okay this just started out of no where. I have a 2000SS with the typical h/c combo and spray. My car takes a long time to start. It's turning over forever before it finally cranks. Could this have something to do with the compression of the motor since I've been spraying the hell out of it for the past 3 years? I know it's not the batt. or starter it's self. Just wondering if anybody else has encountered this problem. Didn't know if it could be something crazy weird like timing or something like that. Any suggestions?
