Thoughts and/or opinions on my cam set-up!
This is the cam set-up I'm going to do. I figure while I have the car apart, might as well change a few other things. Some might be a little overkil,l but better safe than sorry. Thoughts and/or opinions welcome. Thanks.
This is for an A4 and to keep it California Smog Legal!
SLP 160 thermostat
SLP high capacity radiator
SLP LS6 intake (may get the actual GM one, it's cheaper. I have two part numbers for it, one for the LS6 and one for the '02 LS1.)
SLP Double roller timing chain
SLP LS6 oil pump
Thunder Racing Cam Kit: 220 or 224 cam (I'll flip a coin for which one)
comp cams 918 springs
comp cams 772 titanium retainers
comp cams 7.4 pushrods one piece chromemoly
slp or equivalent valve keepers (good insurance to replace them)
JBA Silver ceramic coated headers
ASP pulley set
NGK TR55 plugs
MSD 8.5 ignition wires
All necessary gaskets, assembly fluids and tools for the job.
optional stuff this might be overkill
Accel fuel injectors (little bit higher than stock psi, whatever that is)
MSD ignition coils
Yella Terra 1.7 rockersor equvialent

u don't really need any of that ignition stuff. the stock stuff will be good for your application. also...how can you just flip a coin for what cam you want? you need to decide. that's something your gonna be stuck with until you decide to change it again.

The TR220 is a good cam, I did 380rwhp with it before my heads. Now that I've done heads it is 403rwhp and that is without any tuning, underdrive pulley, cutout, or ported TB.
