Re: cam and head suggestions
We offer a 220/220 camshaft that makes some nice power but still allows you to pass emissions testing. We installed just the cam on a Corvette last week with stock cats and LS1 intake manifold, and we picked up 31 RWHP. It baselined with 331 RWHP and left with 362 RWHP. We're looking for 380+ RWHP with the TPIS long tube headers and LS6 intake manifold.
It would make for a great, economical package if you paired that cam up with a set of Patriot Performance stage II heads! We have package setup with your choice of camshaft, fully-assembled Patriot stage II cylinder heads with 2.02"/1.57" valves, dual valve springs, and titanium retainers, TSP hardened pushrods, and a Rollmaster double-roller timing set for $1889.99. We are currently doing a heads/cam swap on a '98 Trans Am automatic with the Patriot stage II heads and our 232/228 reverse-split camshaft. We will have it on the dyno tomorrow afternoon.
Feel free to call or e-mail me if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Re: cam and head suggestions
Damp,
I think you can look at cams up to ~224 with a 114 LSA and still pass sniffer. As for OBD-II scan you could be able to use cams bigger than 224 and still pass the OBD-II scan with a good tune and properly set up PCM. Trevor can probably make a few specific suggestions about that.
