228/228 .588 lift 112 dyno numbers
I have a lid, ported mafs, loudmouth, hooker lt's and ORY and now a comp cams 228/228 .588 lift 112 lSA, 918 springs, and chromeoly pushrods and dyno tune. The numbers were 314 rwhp and 311rwtq before headers and cam and 362.1 rwhp and 353 rwtq after. It was dynoed at houston performance and I was told that their dyno is 10-15 hp lower than other dynos. Speed Demon motorsports did the cam and tune and it is a night and day difference. I am impressed with performance but not the dyno numbers.

48 HP and 42 TQ is a good gain, but ditto on the intake, LTs, TB waking it up a bit.

Add an LS6 intake, ported TB, and UD crank pulley and then you can really compare with some of the other dyno champions.
LS6 intake will add 10rwhp easily.
The intake and ported TB can lean you out a bit up top so tweaking the tune would not be a bad idea.

Hey Tex, i would put the stock MAF back and try to dyno the car again. This is the first time i have ever seen a bolt on LS1 makes less TQ than HP. Im talking before the cam and headers. So there might be something wrong.

yeah stock descreened MAF is the best. Use spray on contact cleaner to clean the wires as well before you dyno. That change with tuning, LS6 intake and ported throttle body will add another 20-25RWHP I bet.
