Default LS6 Cam Dyno Results

Mods in the sig below.....This was already posted over at LS1.com but I thought I would also post it here for you guys that don't venture over there.

First off a big thanks to Mike from Rapid Motorsports and to Performance Specialties for a great time at their dyno. I will be the first to recommend Mike for your LS1 Edit Dyno tuning as he really knows his stuff and is a great guy to work with!!

Sorry as I cannot post a dyno graph as my scanner will not work with my new PC!

Baseline before tuning was 362 rwhp and 351 rwtq running a 11.4 AFR

After LS1 Edit tuning it made a best of 376 rwhp and 361 rwtq with a 12.8 AFR

I also had the rev limiter bumped to 6500, cags deleted, rear 02 codes etc etc.....

It really does pull harder now and runs sooooo much smoother than before! Well worth the time and money.

Here is a breakdown of before and after cam and LTs numbers

What did the car baseline at before the cam? Always wondered what a LS6 & tune was actually worth.

Something doesn't sound right. It's not the cam. I used to pull 389 with my TR224 all day long.

Any SES lights? I made the same #'s with the TR224, and a single pattern 218 524 114 comp cam. Both cams, 345 rwhp. So now I know now that the problem is not with the cam. I am getting knock sensor codes, both P0327 and P0332. Nothing wrong with either of them or the wire harness, so it has to be the PCM. Now I have heard a hypothesis that it may be an error in some LS1 edits. I know nothing about LS1 edit other than my car was tuned with it, but I read somewhere on this sight that this problem may in fact be caused by changing the "rev by gear" or something. Or it could be a problem with pin 51 or something like that, but worth looking into. I am getting my PCM reflashed tomorrow and I am going to program it with the predator, but I may not know nothing for about a week.

No we're just getting the multiple missfire code and 0 knock?

The car just doesn't like the cam or something?
