Default How do these head stack up?

I currently have a set of Absolute speed ported LS1 heads on my car. They came with the follwing flow numbers
.200---147 cfm
.300---201
.400---251
.450---264
.500---280
.550---291
.600---301

I was looking to see how these heads stack up against the newer versions and styles. My car makes decent power 413 rwhp, but the torque is low at 385 ft lbs The cam is a 224/224/.556 on a 116 Sep and I hace SLP headers, but will be swaping out for kooks

Are you happy with your car's performance? Those flow numbers are fine. Is there an OEM ported head out there that flows more? Yes but you wont see that much of a difference to make it worth it. Your next step from where your at is an aftermarket casting. That would be the only move that makes sense money wise, unless you've got coint to toss around and dont mind dropping 6-800 on minimum gains. You've got a 12 bolt and 411 gears, nothing wrong with your setup.

The 116 lobe is hurting your torque as much as anything.

Agreed. Bet it's smooth though.
