my motor is starting to knock and i fear it might be a rod bearing. to change it i'll need to pull the motor out =[ while i have it out i was looking to put it back together right. i am looking for a 383 stroker kit. what all is involved with these? clearances? bore size? will i be able to run my ls1 ported heads, mild cam with 7.4 inch pushrods with this kit?
