Came across this, thought it was cool. Way better than a write up. Lets you know exactly what to look at.

That was amazingly very little time spent on that compared to what I spend on one of my pumps, although I think I finish them out a little more than that vid showed.

I actually just calculated what time I spend on one pump, and I spend between 12-18 minutes on each. Good info to have I guess.

TO be perfectly honest, for the cost of a ported pump I have no issue buying one from someone who's done a few hundred and never an issue. That was a very good vid though, but it doesnt finish the re-assembly. Also can you over port it? Is there potential to make it worse?

You surely don't want to get into the o-ring land or the pump surface. All & all it was a good vid....they just edited it to shorten it it appears. Assembly is pretty straight forward....he covered the shim & the lock tight w/is important also.
