We cnc 862 castings with our new 5.3l program no problem. We can make easily kick those thing out if you decide to send them this direction.

Yeah you guys are where i want to send them to. I was thinking of doing the stage 2.5 setup on them and running a 228r or talk to you guys and see what cam would be good for my application. How much would i be looking at to have the heads done??

From the factory they are nothing real fancy. They have smaller valves than a stock 243 or even 241 casting as well IIRC. Unless you're having them worked, I wouldn't waste the time/labor on swapping them. Yea, the compression boost is nice, but won't make-up for insufficient performance/flow in stock form.

Like Jason posted above, months ago, we can work them over for you to get them up to par and help you make some nice power! Let us know if we can help!
