Default help with cam

ok im getting a new shortblock and while it was out i was going to put a big cam in it i was thinking the MS4. i have stock heads with ls6 valve springs. is there anything else i need to do, such as which valve springs i have chromoly pushrods and ls7 lifters with about 2k on them now, do these need to be replaced?

lifters should be fine. depending on the length of the pushrods, they should be fine.

valve springs are gonna need to be upgraded....duals to .650" or so will be needed

^^^^^^^Agree. Valve springs are a must, look at Patriot Golds or PAC Racing 1518's to name a few.
