What octane gas for 11.60 scr and 8.80 dcr?

Default What octane gas for 11.60 scr and 8.80 dcr?

Anybody running the above scr/dcr on 91 octane?....

Mine is 11.3 and 8.7. Premium here is 92 - 93 octane and I'm not seeing any KR. You might be ok.

Can you tell us about your setup and so we can see what h/c you used to get those compression numbers. 93 octane should be fine, as long as the tune is good.

Allngn c5,

The head/cam combo - ported 243s (62cc) with a 236/242, .595/.598 lift, 112lsa,108icl cam... with a .041 quench...

92 octane is the highest around here...

I say you would be ok using 92 octane. If you starting getting KNOCK then you may have to pull a couple degrees of timing from your tune.
