Default Thinking of swapping ls1 heads for ls2/ls6 heads. Thoughts?

I'll be doing the swap so labor is no big deal.

Running a 224r on a 112 lsa, Think the ls2/ls6 take offs will get me to my 400 at the wheels goal?

it may fall short of the 400 hp mark, especially with your automatic, but the 224R and the TR224 run awesome with the 243 (ls2/6) heads.

the 224 cams are very popular with LSX GTO's because they have great all around power and torque which helps move our heavy cars.

in a light car like yours a 224R with ls2/6 heads and a higher stall tq converter will make for quite a nasty package

also, being that youre using a smaller cam and no FI, the 243s will def have the right flow numbers for that cam.

if you want, you can get the heads milled a little to add compression and get some more power.

I would spring for the AFR's. Those will wake it up for sure.
