Does anyone know for sure if the MTI B1 cam has any advance ground into it? Also, what effect does having advance ground into a cam have VS a cam with the same specs but no advance. Power/torque wise, idle quality and where it moves the power band.

Yes.

Advanceing the cam generally moves the power curve lower.
