Default Port match head to gasket(exhaust)

Does everyone port the exhaust port on the head to the exhaust gasket? I have a new set of AFR's and there is quite a bit of meat in the exhaust port that needs to be removed to match the
gasket. The gasket is a LS2 and it matches my LG pro's.

I would leave the exhaust ports the way Tony designed them...remember the exhaust gases are trying to find someplace to expand into.

I would not port match if the exhaust ports are cnc'ed, but if there stock ports why not, Also check your headers and match port to the gasket. A lot of header flanges are welded from the inside ,you may need to take a die grinder to clean them up.
