Default Alright guys...Here goes

Buddy has a Comp Cam. Specs are .224/.228 .581/.589 114 LSA.

Going in a 99 WS6 with 80mm TB, Lid, LM1 Catback.

Opinions? Planning on getting LS6 intake and Pacesetters hooked up to ORY.

I've been researching quite a bit and this seems to be a streetable cam. So I assume. Maybe you guys have some more input.

Thanks for the advice.

edit: found this video. Omitting the TDs...is this about the kind of lope I should expect?
edit x2: sorry forgot the link! http://youtube.com/watch?v=XXHVLOIdcfU

No link... I think that the cam, 224/228 on a 114, would be very streetable.

Look at my profile below. I'm running the same cam and absolutely love it. Since I'm in Nevada I have long tubes with tru-duals and bullet mufflers from summit racing. It sounds like the rapture when it's WOT haha It has plenty of power in all the right places and since I'm not running 6k rpms all day I can really jump the line when I need to and still have the top end I'm looking for. You won't be disappointed there are plenty of people on this site running the same cam. You are definitely going to want to replace your valvesprings though if you haven't done so already.

Edit Again: That sounds just like my car at idle! That's what you can expect.

I drove a member on heres car that had full bolt-ons and a 226/226 comp cam w/ a 3500 stall. Sounded mean as hell and drove great on the street. It was putting down like 390 to the wheels.
