Default TSP and cam experts come in

MS3 on a 114LSA w/ TSP stage 1 LS6 heads (2.00/1.55 valves) with a cometic .040 head gasket. Will that combo work with that headgasket without PTV issues?

They have been known to run that cam with the 5.3L heads also, and I think the LS6 heads have a little more clearance, especially with the stock size valves.

I would think you'd be OK, but as with everything, its best to check and make sure. Every car seems to be just a little different.

You may have to run a stock MLS gasket. Heard Cometics are on backorder right now but I don't know.

Great cam for a really high compression setup with valve reliefs and a nice shot of spray, but it this isn't your application then you probably don't have your ideal cam. Do you own the cam or are you just thinking about it? If not, then TSP has many other cams better suited for max area under the curve with no flycutting, even with the .040" gasket.
