Rapid Heads - Mild Cam - 12 Bolt = 430rwhp
The car is a 2002 Trans-am (collector edition). Mods are Rapid Stage II LS1 Heads, 224/230/114 XE-R cam (mild by today's standards), FLP headers through the cats, Magnaflow exhaust, SLP 85mm MAF, SLP Lid, Moser 12 Bolt with 4.11 Gears. No UD pulley, no ported TB, no ported intake, no cutout. Tune was 12.8:1 flat, timing at 29 degrees. Heads were not cut for compression, just an .005" clean-up.

are those gtp heads, lookingat your web site the only heads I see are gtp's. the torque is kinda on the low side, is there a cam that would bring that up and you can see how much more efficient the 02 cars are with the way the motor peaks, wish mine was an 02

Looks good! Get him the rest of the bolt-ons and he is really cruising.
On a side note --
I dont really get that split on the cam...why all the exhaust duration? Seems like that would just bleed off torque without giving a significant increase in HP, unless he is going nitrous later on. I guess this is why Im not putting together H/C packages!

I would also be very interested in seeing those flow numbers!
