Default More Performance H/C ?

Does anyone have a More Performance top end package on their car or have any experience with their products. Just curious as to what kind of numbers they are putting down.

I bought a set of Stage III 5.3 heads from them last year. I wasn't very happy with them. When I asked for flow numbers, they told me that the employee that could give them to me wasn't in. Time passed by and then they said they didn't keep a record of them. Someone from this board had them flow benched at LS1 Speed Inc. They flowed less than stock up to .350 lift and after that they outflowed stock by about 10-15cfm. They had max flow of 284cfm at .600 lift. I'd highly recommend any sponsor from this board over More Performance Inc. That's just my opinion.

Yeah i really wasn't impressed by their website but their shop is only a couple hours from me which would be convenient. I have seen the 427 that they build at their shop which looked pretty sick but haven't really heard anything about their topend packages.

HotRod,

Check out this thread that was on the board a few weeks ago. Several people, including me talk about experiences with MORE.

I worked with More when I built my 396 and I couldn't be happier with the experience! I dealt directly with Mike. I found his pricing to be very fair, he kept to the schedule, and most of all he responded to EVERY email and phone inquiry that I had even after the sale.

yah well wait till your motor/transmission breaks and the warranty they give you means nothing to them.

We have dealt with them on several ocations and always helpful and very knowledgeable. Talk with them over there tell them what you are looking for and make your own decision.

...All true. I too thought they were a great company until it was time for them to fulfill their warranty. I politely went to them when my engine threw a rod after only 6k miles- Mike Osucha asked me "what do you want ME to do about it". As far as I am concerned (and there are many who would agree with me), they are a shady business. Go with Futral, MTI, or even SGC (South Georgia Corvette). Aaron Scott @ SGC does alot of work with LS engines, but his main business comes from building LT5's for ZR1 Corvettes. He is IMO the best engine builder in the Southeast by FAR.

Whatever you go with- good luck!
