Default 1.7 RR's on a stock cam...

First of all my dad wants to put 1.7s on his 98 A4, Z28, he has Pacesetters, Y pipe, and CAI + LID. Does anyone have a clue what the gains would be around with these RR's, would it be worth the money?? Shortly after hes getting a tune.

He might pick up something, but it probably won't be much. The stock rockers are very good.

With his current mods, he would be better spending the $$$ on an LS6 intake.

If he went with the YT UL RR's (1.8 ratio) then he may pick up ~10hp but those are $400, as stated above he is better off spending $320 on a LS6 intake manifold.
