Default Boring

I am 15 and I am trying to understand engines to the best of my ability, I got a few questions. How much can you bore and stroke an ls1 without being resleeved? Being resleeved? Also how much can you stroke this motor? What Cubic inches can you get?

Sorry for so many questions, but thanks in advance

1) 4.155 x 4.155 (max on each that I've seen quoted)
2) The standard (ls1 & LS6) aluminum blocks can't tolerate more than .010 honing without being resleeved
3) see 1
4) per 1, 450 ci

Lunati makes a crank in a 4.250 inch size now so things are getting to the point were your gona run out head. Its a small block head and cant support that many CI unless you force feed it.

I just emailed Lunati Tech support a few days ago and they no longer are making the 4.25" stroke crankshaft, at least that's what the tech guy said.
