LS1 pushrod question
I'm getting ready to put ported and shaved 5.3 heads (with LS1-sized valves) on my 99 Z28 along with a stock GM 2002 ZO6 camshaft. The heads DO have dual-valvesprings that are made for .600 lift cams. Will my stock pushrods be OK with this setup or do I need to throw down for some hardened ones? I've heard both ways from LSx racers around here, and I wanted to see what some of you guys that have experience building and racing these engines had to say about it. Thanks, Paul

Before you buy any pushrods, get an adjustable length PR checker and verify your required length with your desired lifter preload factored in.
