Bearing question
Can someone enlighten me on what the difference on what the difference between 1/2, 3/4 and full grove bearings is? Also, which would be better to run on a stock crank? About to order my bearing and this threw me off.

The 3/4 groove has a longer oil groove on the ID of the bearing. The 1/2 is obviously the shorter.
If I remember correctly, the groove is better for getting oil in and around the bearing/shaft but not good for high load or bearing speeds, hence why rod bearings do not have them and why the grooves are on the "uppers" and not on the "lowers" (at least for the most part).
We haven't had any problems with the "1/2 groove" bearings.
