Hey,
Should be a nice swap for you..I would go double roller..kinda a pain in the but..but easy to install when the motor is out of the car You can get LS1 federal mogul bearing's here www.thunderracing.com in the engine section for 98-02 f-body's...That "knock" noice is probably piston slap so I would run a 3.905" diamond piston and make sure that each cyliner is exactly 3.905" after honing..file fit the diamond piston ring's accordingly to your specs (or diamonds) and you should be fine.Later,

You forgot to add rods to it. Your already opening it up might as well do that too. And why so much injector? You should be alright with 36lb.

The Rollmaster double roller is pretty decent and it's only like ~$85 heat treated.
