Default aftermarket 3.905 pistons with stock weight

Are there aftermarket 3.905 forged pistons for the stock stroke, that have the same weight as a stock 3.898 piston ?
so i don't have to rebalance it...

thanks, Jeejee

What is the weight of the pistons you have now?

you should have it balanced regardless. a few grams make a huge difference as rpm climbs

well if it only was that simple i would do that, but unfotunately , i'm at the moment at the otherside of the globe, where nobody has the proper tools to do that...
And shipping the crank + rods + pistons stateside to get it balanced , and then send back, is way too costly....

But when i would install pistons with the same weight as stock, there would be no need to....

you could order a balanced rotating assembly with a stock stroke crank, rods, and pistons and not have to worry about having any problems.

Not all pistons, rods, pins will weigh the same, there will be variations and each assembly is balanced to the other 7

Well then I wouldn't be taking on a piston replacement job if you don't have proper tools available. Although everything under the hood is metric so being overseas shouldn't be a problem.

the fact that there is not a balancing assembly closeby for a v8, doesn't mean that other "proper tools" are not available....

so Nobody can tell me what the stock 3.898 pistons weight ? (without the rod attached naturally)

Like anything else oem, they have factory tolerances, if you plan on revving the engine it makes a huge difference.

Honestly, this is the only way to do it, a good aftermarket piston usualy does not weigh to a T like the stockers. Figure in a aftermarket strong wrist pin with good rings, and its extremely hard to say yes this is perfect go rev it to 7k, if not impossible.
