There are a number of sponsors who port heads, I go with Richard at WCCH but you have many choices. TEA, TSP, Livernois, Patriot, Cartek to name a few. ( all I can think of off the top of my head) goods place to look >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We offer cnc porting of 243 heads for a very reasonable price. PM what your looking to do so I can figure out what heads are best for your application. Typically we see 25rwhp from swapping unported LS6 heads to our cnc ported 2.5 heads. Whats your power goals?

My vote is Livernois for the head porting, sell your 243 heads that you have, and you will probably only have to shell out about 700 for the livernois ones above what you sold your heads for.
As far as what boost they lift @. It all depends on your combo. Everyone is quick to say the stock heads lift bad, but didn't people run bottom 8's like 3-4 years ago w/ ported factory castings? yes they did...

As far as heads lifting, they do, the only fix ive seen is the LSX blocks and if you CAN get heads with the extra bolts for clamping, the pistons tend to be the weak point, even be it quality aftermarkets.
This is from the fastest LSX n2o in the country running a HUGE shot.
The point is you can fix something, but then something else becomes the weak spot.

a better question would be what HP do the heads lift, and also you didnt state with which head bolts etc, just saying there are way too many variables to the head lifting question,.
LOL x2, or rely on the knock sensors "aw the knock sensors will back off the timing enough"... saw these morons at the streetraces one night just pounding on a civic up and down the lane detonating real bad, needless to say, they didn't win any races and I never saw them again, im sure that motor took a **** before they got home.

Usually it's detonation causing the issue. People just think it's a harmless term and a pinging sound.
