running 1.8 rockers only on the exhaust side?
This might be a crazy question and might not even work out, but here it goes. I put the MTI X1 cam in my car with intentions of leaving the stock heads on the car but came across a set of cores cheap and had them fully ported. Now I wish I'd went with a traditional split but don't have the time to mess with a cam swap and retune and all that right now. I know back in the old 5.0 days some would run the old single pattern B303 cam with 1.7 rockers on the exhaust and 1.6 rockers on the intake.
I didn't do the math but I'd think if I ran a 1.8 on the exhaust side my lift would be something like .591/.601 instead of my current .591/.571?
