Default Confusion on Stock Cams.

I did a search and there seems to be a lot of confusion about stock specs between all the years and different cars/truck they were in. Any one have accurate info or a web source where I can look this up. I want to know what cams came in what motors of all the new gen engines starting with the 97 vette.

i dont know where you can find all that but the things i know for sure is...
98-00 F-bodys came with a bigger cam (thats why they have the EGR and then the 01-02 cars got the cam out of the 6.0L truck motor to increase bottom end tq. This cam was smaller and thus making the EGR pointless. To make up for the smaller cam the LS6 intake was used. That and the 01 ZO6 had a smaller cam than the 02's. Sorry if I told you something that you already knew, but ill keep my eye out for more info.

Why does Chevy seem to like the higher LSA cams?

In addition to that there might be increased number of cats replaced under warranty in case there was significant overlap.

I don't suppose anyone has come across the total duration and/or valve timing on any of the stock cams?

I've seen a few sites which says one of the stock cams was a 201i/210e on a 116-117.

Several of these are not accurate according to actual cam doctor results, but they are fairly close.
