Default Ok serious cam question and suggestions needed

'03 LS1
Stock shortblock
FAST 92/92 Setup
FAST 36# Injectors
TSP Stage 1 LS6 Heads or something close to those
EWP (not yet purchased)
UD Pulley (not yet purchased)
Longtubes or a midlength (whatever I can find to fit my '56)
true 3" Exhaust
Built 4L60
Currie 9" with probably a 4.10 R&P

I LOVE the Lope and top end power of the MS4 but was wanting something that comes on a little earlier and continues up top. This will be a show and weekend driver car so I REALLY don't like the idea of having to replace the valve springs more than I have to and I figured the MS4 would require a spring change more commonly than I prefer.

I was looking at the Trex but am concerned about PTV clearance. Instead of the specs of the Trex ()

I was thinking about going with something around a 23X/23X with a lift around that of the Trex, maybe a little more and would prefer a 109 or 110 LSA.

MS4 - Magic Stick V.4 239/242, .649"/.609" Camshaft With Your Choice of Lobe Seperation (111 LSA Standard)

Trex - 243.46/249.61 .609/.617 on a 109.31

Are there any out of the box cams that you guys suggest? I know most will suggest a custom grind and that's fine but I was fishing for some suggestions before I go that route.

Dan

um...the spring change with the trex will be around the same time as the ms4 and the trex has a slightly higher powerband.

www.texas-speed.com has a custom cam creator. i would use that with this cam:

230/230 on a 111+2 lsa xer lobe. should lope alright and supply great power down low as well as higher in the band.

Who do you guys suggest I call about a custom grind? any preferences?

EDIT: Someone I can call that is willing to talk to me about overall specs etc. I am NEW to LSX motors and pretty much motor internals in general. I just called TSP and the dude I talked to didn't seem too excited about answering basic questions I had.
