Your gas milege is doing to drop thats for sure. But no cam is to big, it's personal preference. I know guys who put MS4 in their daily, would i do it? Probably not. In my opinion that cam in fine for a DD but i'm sure people will agree and disagree with me, depends on where you want power also. Up top, mid range?

Should be fine with good tuning. With proper tuning even big cams cruise around fine.

I ran that cam last year and it was perfectly fine for a DD through my M6. It makes good power up top, I just switched to an LS6 and can really tell the difference around 3-3.5k

You do not lose a ton of MPG with a cam, I have a 233/239 cam on STOCK heads and my hwy is still 27, I was at 30. When I get my heads and raise my compression I bet it will go up to 28. A MS4 can be a DD cam, its all in the tune.

If you have stock tune your gas milage can go up with a cam and a good tune. Mine did! I have 99 m6 Z28 with ful bolton's and 231/237 cam and my car is a true DD with 113,000 miles. The cam went i on 85,000 miles Stil as strong as the day i put it in Depending on how i drive i get anywhere from 15-29mph. My car gets driven way harder then most do. I think if you have a good tune your good to go. Hell my wife has only driven a manual trans about 20 times in her life and she can get in my car and drive it just fine thanx to the ls7 clutch.

I ran a similar cam as a DD for 45,000 miles ( 233/233 .595/.595 112 ) with a good tune your MPG won't suffer..

daily drive my 233/233 cam. and the part throttle tune is pretty crappy...lots of surge both at idle and at certain rpms.

and even with a spec 4 clutch and light flywheel it's not bad around town.

and again, with the less than ideal part throttle tune...i've done many 600mile trips at 75-85mph and gotten 25-26mpg on stock gears

I also DD my 233/239 .595/.603 112. In the heavy GTO I get 16/25mpg. Some surging with my tune in 1st gear between 5-10mph if I'm just creeping around.
