I was wondering if i could bore out my stock block to a 4.00 or a 4.03 piston size. Does anyone know?

No, you can't do much more than a light hone on the LS1.

wonder how much that costs. Im freshening up the motor, it has 100k on it, and im hearing that i might have to get new 3.905 pistons because of the wear. If im going to have to get new pistons, theres no way im putting the stock size back in.

Youd be cheaper to get a stroker shortblock from a vendor.
Even cheaper just get a lq9 shortblock out of a denali/escalade and bolt your heads and intake on and go.

it would be cheaper to buy a forged short block then re- sleeving my motor and buying new pistons?

ahh, im going to just hope that after 100k miles it didnt wear down that much, and i can just put in new rings with a light hone and call it a day. Is that a resonable thought or am i probably going to be faced with new pistons...

Go 3.905 and go forged pistons, Then you can throw a couple of hundred horses worth of n2o at it.

But do you think that ill be able to get a way without it or do you think that because theres 100k miles that the walls will be worn down to much, and ill have no choice but to go 3.905...

+1. Inspect the block.
Also get a LQ4 shortblock before considering re-sleeving the motor.

For the price of re-sleeving, you can buy an LSX block(assuming you buy real sleeves).

As far as boring. .010 hone is about max.

yup. Fresh hone, new pistons, ringlands, rods, rod bolts, etc. and ur good to go. Stock crank can even handle the power you're putting out.

Resleeving is possible.... but not really worth it.
