lq4 h/c Question lt4 jay or burger or anybody
Jay i building a lq4 in a s10 like your but 1st gen. 410 gears th350 w/4000 converter. Thinkinh of going with l92 set up with tsp torq 2 cam. also member here selling some patriot stage 3 ls6 new here for around 1000.00 first off would like to run what burger and jay did around low 11 or high 10's n/a truck will be driving on street but not a dd. Any help with cams or combinations with the l92's or the stage3 ls6's please help more I read more confused I'm getting. the motor will have carb manifold and a carb. Truck had a 406 sbc before and would run 6:60 to 6:80 on a 150 shot.

Thanks sheephead and Jay. looks like alot of people are having low power numbers with these heads, I think mostly to cams. JAy what did your truck run n/a? I know you ran the same cam as car craft did would you or do you think it's worth having one custom ground?

was thinking of call rick at synergy, I guess he has been making some good number under the curve. Burger was the one that run a 10:80 n/a I think he used a tsp torq. cam I belive. And yes jay's truck runs good. I will be alittle lighter than Jay not much thoe. I am running alittle looser conv. around 4000 and 410 gears. I pretty much have the suspension working caltracs etc. had no problems hooking up the 408 sbc that it had in it.
