cartek stage 2 853 castings vs stock 243 ls2 heads which flow better? the stock 243s or the cartek stage 2s 853 cast, reason why im asking is cause i can get a set of cartek stage 2s for a good price, cheaper then the stock 243 ls2s, plus the cartek heads already come with springs and titanium retainers, any input guys

5 years ago I went 11.32 @ 122 with a 3450lbs car on a 1.52 60's with CARTEK Stage 2 853 heads and a 218/222 cam
I would go with ported CARTEK heads over a stock 243 head in your case. Unless you plan on porting the 243's down the road.
