Default How Important is CR.

Going from 10.1:1 to 11:1. How much HP gains best and worst case senerio will you net?

It's said that every full point increase in compression is worth 3% additional HP.

Some cams work better with more compression.

That's a pretty good jump, and should net a decent increase in HP... An 11:1 LS1 shouldn't have any problems on pump gas, so it's a worthwhile jump.

You get to a point of diminishing returns on CR though... What I mean is that you will gain much more going from 9:1 to 10:1, than you would by going 13:1 to 14:1...

My heads are milled .055 and yield an approximate static compression of 11.4

I run 93 **** gas and do not have any knock, however I am running a tad rich. ...the knock verification has been performed on A-Tap..
