COntact a sponsor and talk to them. Or you can add the parts together yourself. I figure atleast $3500.. Off the top of my head.

Yeah, figure $2000 for a rotating assembly, add block work, bolts, gaskets, bearings, etc. You be up around $3000 when all is said & done.

Are you planning on doing the assembly yourself, or have someone else do it?

Well, A friend of mine got quoted for bore and stroke plus forged internals for $1800...

Not sure if its because I was with my friend and the mechanic and my father have been good friends since they were about 8 years old or what, but it was a helluva deal.

The guy owns his own engine building shop and owns a 5 sec vette...

Edit: That was also if we pulled the motor out ourselves...

I know we were both amazed when he said $1800

We were going to do that when he was set Jeffs Z28 M6. It has like 135,000 miles on it and he was selling it for lik $5000. So Marshall (the guy that was with me) was going to use like the extra $2500 to build the motor and get fuel system and worry about exhaust later on.

but he ended up finding a Z28 A4 with like 65,000 miles for $7500 so all of his money went to the newer one. Hes now got to buy some new tires though because the ones on the car are almost gone. Its got 18X9 Z06's too so tires aint cheap

WOW A forged rotating assembly is usually $1800+ so that is a great deal if you have confidence in the builder

It all depends on what parts you want to use. I would say average cost is around 5k with mid/top range parts. Now for shortblocks you can tend to pay around 3500.
