Default LS2 heads/ LS6 cam/ Pushrods

I've searched...seen lots of posts saying with LS6 heads/cam you would need slightly longer 7.425 pushrods.... but what about with LS2 heads?

Default pushrods

With LS6 heads and cam you would use stock 7.4 pushrods the LS6 cam has a different base circle due to its lift and LS6 have shorter valves to allow for this. LS2 have standard length valves and supposedly need the 7.425 longer pushrods - I have heard you can still use 7.4" and still be OK but i cannot verify this. I think that anything other than stock needs to be checked to verify correct length.

Agreed. Just a little info--the LS6 and LS2 share the same cylinder head.

But not the same valves.
