Pulled head, should I change the oil???

Default Pulled head, should I change the oil???

Ok so long story short i broke a rocker arm bolt while the engine was running, so i had to pull the head to get it taken out. Now i changed the oil pretty recently should i change it now just in case????

When pulling the heads, you're likely to get coolant into the oil. Only if you remove all the coolant from the block can you avoid this. That's hard to do.

Oil is cheap - don't be cheap. Change your oil.

I removed mine without changing the oil immediately, I didnt allow coolant to go into the engine though like mentioned above..

I had it changed a week later like I already had planned..

yes, do not skimp on this, oil is the blood of your motor.

As the others have said it a great idea !!! No reason not to. I can't change mine enough, as Predator said its the life blood of your engine.
