Default tr ls2 cheater cam in a ls1

i got a friend that wants to sell his ls2 cheater cam and was wondering if there would be any problems with pvc in a ls1 since this cam has more lift, i would like to put this cam in my ls1...

I almost ordered that cam. I called TR and they said a stock bottom end with stock sized vales would not have clearance issues. But I would call to reconfirm this. I think the recommend Comp 918s for that cam. So your gonna need good springs.

yea i know its going to need good double springs for that cam just wanted to know if anyone was running it in a ls1...thanks

isnt the cam position sensor in a different position on the LS2 which would mean you can't use an LS2 cam core for an LS1 motor. But if they would grind the LS2 cam specs onto an LS1 cam core it should work.

I agree - LS2 cam will not work in LS1 motor.
