Default LS7 lifters and LSL lobes?

I have new LS7 lifters that I was planning on using for my comp cam LSL lobes with .617/.621 I believe they are fairly aggressive ramps. I am rethinking this issue. Are the lifters a good piece for this cam?

Great, how long have you been running it with the LS7 lifters? What do you shift at? I've so seen your car at KCIR before....

I would personally go with an open roller design made of better materials such as Morel.

Anybody else have opinions on this? I might be going with LSL lobes and was considering the LS7 lifters.

I'm using LS7 lifters with LSK lobes - for 3000 miles thus far. I take the car to 6700 on a few occasions a day.....

Cheers,

Macca

The Caddy lifters are supposed to be good to 8K. LS7's here no probs. Only spinnig 6500 here (stock bottom).
