Default I'm worried about some things....

Ok, yesterday I was in 1st gear, car was warmed up (~205), and I hammered it, when I hit ~5500rpm, the car seemed to drop in power, a lot.
I have concerns that this is either A: Valve float, or B: Bad gas?
I just put in some 93, the weather wasn't too bad either.
What can cause an engine to lose power like that up top? I'm affraid to go at it again and blow it up.
I ran the car at the track in hot weather and had no problems. Since the cam was put in, same time as heads, it's been about 2k miles.
Here is my dyno:

I dunno what it could be?

My sympton which were similar were caused by knock retard from 5k-5.5k the car would stop pulling and the nose fall while accelerating past those RPM's. Do you have atap or efi live?

no i do not, I was considering atap. What would cause knock if I am running 93? Just shitty gas?

A lean condition in the upper RPM. I run 93 also and sometimes 94 and still get it but from looking at my EfI live data i can see that i am running lean in the upper rpm range. My O2 sensors aree very lean and COT is kicking in to protect my cats. So I have a few options

1 LS1 edit
2 MAFT (is your MAF ported/ is the car tuned)
3 Get a local tuner to help out.
4 If you ahve had it tuned they may beed to pull a little timing
5. !EGR may be a mod that wasnt worth doing. 1 for the gains you get from it (minimal) and two it can cause the car to ping/knock. Leaving it alone was prolly better
