Default after installing a cheatr cam whats the gas smell from?
A friend of mines installed a cheatr cam from thunder and now have a gas smell what it might be?

Yup, he needs to get that beast tuned. An aftermarket tickles the valves a little differently than the stock cam does and it's probably running pretty dang rich.

I have the same issue with my car, running like a 13.1 A/F, so mine is gonna smell a little rich.

Check your fuel rails if the smell is un burnt fuel.make sure all of your injectors are seated right.

this does happen when installing a cheatr cam before getting it tuned I just put one in my car and same instance happened to me after the tune it was all good
