cleaning lifters? well i bought some lifters off of a new ls6 crate engine, they have little bit of oil and some minor stuff got on them little lint and stuff, how do i clean them before putting them in oil to assemble in engine?

brakeclean works...just make sure you soak those badboys in oil for awhile...or you could just put it straight in a jar of oil...i think most of that little stuff would come off...
