Default Texas Speed 5.3 or ls6 for ms4

I have an MS4 and trying to pick between the TSP2.5 ls6 or TSP2.5 5.3 heads. I am willing to milling the heads and fly cutting. I also plan on running a 150 shot. Is it worth $300 more for the ls6 2.5?

If you are willing to flycut and mill I would recommend the 2.5 LS6 Heads. Milling the heads will pick up the low end power and the LS6's will make a little more up top because of the runner. Give me a call up here at the shop if you have any more questions!

What kind of gain would u expect? if were just talking about 5hp on just the top end I don't know if its worth the extra 300 for the LS6 heads

I would expect 8-10 RWHP difference up top when it is all said and done. Not a huge difference for the money but if you are already going to the trouble to flycut the pistons, most would tell you to get everything you can get out of it. We have had several cars go 480+ RWHP with this combo along with a FAST/PTM setup. It really just comes down to if you think that power difference is worth the money. Either way you aren't going to be making a bad decision. Both heads will work great with that cam and put down very respectable numbers! Let me know if you have any other questions!
