Heads recommendations? For a CC SI5 231/595 112
I am not knowledgeable on how to know which heads would work with my cam . I am on a budget so I don't want the top of the line heads. But wouldn't mind hearing about the middle to bottom end heads out there?
Thanks and any help would be appreciated.

You might want to add a little more info as to what your goals are...such as HP/TQ/CR/ will it be a DD or track car, do you have any other supporting mods etc. ,that way people can give you a better idea of what might meet your needs.

Sorry about that. All I really have on the TA as far as supporting mods are. A Ls6 intake, Pacesetter Headers with ORY, B+B catback. She dynoed 385rwhp and 352tq. I would love to be in the mid 400rwhp but at the expense of my budget will settle for low 400rwhp. Compression ratio unsure of where or know were I should be at? Thanks

Depends on your budget.
I have the same cam and just bought AFR 205s.
Be aware that they're pretty expensive and if you wanna do the **** right, you'll probably have to spend over $3,000 in total because of the other parts you should buy.
My parts so far:
AFR 205's with upgraded 8019 valve springs= $2,450+
LS7 Lifters = $100+
Lucas 42lb injectors = $320+
Cometic head gasket = $135
Intake gaskets = $20
Valve cover gaskets = $25
Tims valve spring tool = $30
Com camp push rod length tool = $20
ARP head bolts = $140
Tune = $500
I'll probably end up buying rockers as well, which are expensive as hell...
A shop quoted me $2186.41 to install the heads and tune the car. But luckily I decided do the work myself and let them tune it because I couldn't afford the whole thing.
Just letting you know that the money is gonna get deep.
I'll let you know how the car responds to the AFR's once it's done and maybe that'll give you an idea of what to expect and which heads to choose.
For now, just take it slow and do your research and ask questions.
^ 1+ for the PRC 5.3 for a budget build.
By the way, the S15 cam is not the same as TSP's cam.
S15= 231/237 .589 .595 112LSA
TSP= 231/237 .598 .595 112LSA

Wow!! Thanks my friend. That pretty much gave me an understanding on what i will need to get her done. Also how much coins I'll be dropping if I go for the top of line brands. I'll also take you up on that offer, to see where the AFR 205's have gotten you. This is some good stuff keep it coming fellas. Every other bit of info will really help me decide as to how much. I am willing to spend as apposed to how much power I want to be at. Thanks

I'll see if I can also do a write with pictures and "average guy" instructions of everything I did to put these heads on. Hopefully I can get this right and maybe help some people when I'm done.
