Default can i get 500 hp with this heads/cam setup?

My goal is to make a 500 hp car and then be done with it, Think i can do it with this setup? I know the heads are capable , but not sure of the cam. Any advise would be appreciated, maybe some possible cam specs. This setup will be tuned. I know alot depends on the tuner, but is it possible, or how far off am i?

tfs 215 heads

Fast 92/ fast 92 tb

harland 1.7 rockers

7.500 pushrods

mellings 18% oil pump

ls2 timing chain

coolant crossover pipe

underdrive pulley

exhaust for now is hooker lt's / y pipe/ slp lm

and finally the cam that is in question which
I think its too small.

228/230 558/ 112 lsa

I doubt with that cam you will get 500rwhp. I did a very similar set up in an auto but with a custom cam from me.

Magic stick v.3 cam? 237/242? I havent seen dynos but i have heard some good things. Something to look into. Thats what I would do if I were you or at least a cam in that range. You talking 500rwhp? If so maybe 1-7/8 headers with cutouts and an ewp?

That should get you over 500 crank hp but 500 rwhp probably not. Its hard getting 500 rwhp on a stock bottom end NA unless you run some high compression with a big cam and every bolt on under the sun. If you want 500 rwhp hit it with some laughing gas with your setup.

that setup could get you 450rwhp but with a very nice curve and good usable power. It also would daily drive very nice. But you will have to go bigger if you want 500rwhp.

i dont think you will make 500hp.. but i also think maybe 450. you probably should go bigger on the cam to get that. but if u go with a bigger cam u drivability will be pretty rough depending how big you go. but that looks like a good setup for a daily driver though.

Honestly...not a chance to hit 500 with that setup....and not the best odds to hit 450.

Nice heads choice, but you should consider a much larger cam. I would strongly suggest you look at LG Motorsports and inquire about there G5X3 version II. I have that cam in my car (see sig) and I love it. I like it so much that when I have the $$$$ for my motor swap that is way over due because of lack of $$$$ I will be re using it in the 402. With a good tuner, the g5x3 vII is great. Its all in the tune. My setup made 490 rwhp 445 rwtq

Hopefully the 402 will make a bit more and a lot more torque....

There was a write up posted a while back from a guy who hit 500rwhp on stock cubes. IIRC he used:
ported AFR 225's
ported Fast 90/90
1 7/8 LT headers w/ magnaflow merge collector & cutout.
Big Cam (sorry, don't remember the specs)
Really good tune

get the 92/92 ported and definately a bigger cam that matches your heads, and 1 7/8 headers will be good for a big ol' cam too.

Vengeance racing is making some 500 rwhp cars with tfs heads.

I bet you will have to flycut or go forged pistons with valve reliefs, milled to 59cc and a good sized cam and a killer exhaust to get there.
