car running BAD, HELP!
my car...still runs like a piece of ****, the idle is normal again, but for some reason the MAF code is pulling, and its brand ******* new...i dont get it.
when i first start it up, it will run at a high idle...1500, than if i get on it, it will go like normal..but if i stop at a stop light after driving it for a few seconds, it will start to run like **** and wont want to go over 2k-2500 rpm's(it now idles like normal, 700-900 rpm's, but feels like its running horrible), and this isnt good...i drove it lesss than 100 miles and it used about 15.2 gallons. so..any suggestions? i might give it a tune-up tomorrow and get a new MAF sensor(even tho its brand new from the dealership) i dont want to deal with those ******* anymore. no arcs in the wires or anything...absolutely nothing. but im getting 5 codes, and 3 i believe are o2 sensors, 1 MAF and w/e the other one is..
JUST GOT OPTISPARK REPLACED UNDER INSURANCE, IT WAS WET AND WAS CAUSING MY CAR TO IDLE very low, but didnt cure the problem of it running rich and bogging when i went over 2.5k rpm's
help? would the maf make my car run like this? i think the other sensors are pulling codes cuz of the car running so rich.

I'm screaming the same thing, buddy. I have searched this site far and wide and have yet to find the solution. The only diff with mine is that it comes and goes. But like yours, the car runs rich and it boggs real bad when at a redlight and when I give it some gas to go the engine sorta shakes and I can't hardly get over 10 mph until it catches rythum again . . . then another redlight and bogggggggg. . .
What codes are you throwing becides the MAF?(I seriously doubt that has anything to do with it)

its the o2 sensors...idk what the last one said but this guy at ridgeway chevy pulled em and there were 5! actually, my friends car is pulling the MAF sensor too, and his car runs rich as **** too, so that has something to do with it...than idk what else, im hoping thats just it. the sparkk plugs are black from running so rich.. so im getting new plugs and wires tomorrow hopefully.

I dunno but check the MAF fuse. My MAF went bad and I thought I could just unplug it and run open loop but the fuse was blown too (and I didn't know it) and it would crank but not run two feet. I was like WTF. Prolly not it but a easy check. After a a new fuse and new MAF all was good.

My scanner showed like 7 or 8 codes, most of them o2 sensors, one RANDOM CYLINDER MISFIRE, and one knock sensor code(that one has been there since I bought the car and probably not the cause)
Car started having problems soon after I installed my LTs.
Is yours auto?

thats what was in my cpu, a **** load of corrosion and water, when i turned the whole computer upside down, it dumped a bunch of corrosion filled water out.
when i cleaned my cpu out and dried it, it ran a little bit differently, and with different codes being pulled. i'm figuring this is my problem.

the sensors are under the intake manifold,on the top of the block on an LS1. However, the LT1s have them in a different spot, I think on the bottom sides of the block? Second pic is a Lt1 engine.
