Piston ? When I look at a set of new pistons and it says .010 deck with .057 gaskets, what does this mean exactly? Is it how much you have to have the block decked? do you have to have the block decked at all?

it means that they figured compression with the piston .010 in or out of the hole and with a .057 thick gasket. I don't kow if they meant in or out though from what you said.
