5 Grand to spend....mmmmm
Ok so what do I do with 5000 bucks. I allready have ms4 cam, double vavle springs, chromemoly pushrods, ls6 intake, lid, k&n air filter, tires, lt headers with td exhaust, and ngk tr55 irdium spark plugs with msd 8.5mm wires installed on my car. Not tuned though. I have a moser 9" rear with 4.11 gear ratio and full spool diff and textralia oz700 clutch waiting to be put on. What should I do with the 5 grand?

Honestly sounds like you are setup pretty decent. I'm not sure how old you are, but if you have not started a ROTH IRA you can put $4500 into a retirement account each year. If you are already setup with some future retirement plans than disregard what I said. I would get hptuners or efi live and a decent set of ported LS6 heads, trickflow 215, or some AFR 205's. You could always go with a magnacharger or some sort of forced induction. Really though for $5000:
Tuning program Hptuners or EFI Live $500-$700
Wideband 02 setup $200+
Aftermarket heads $1100+
That will provide good results and you will have money left over to invest for your future.

Thanks for your advice. I'm pretty well set up for my retirement. I'm in the military and plan on becoming an officer after this enlistment, and yeah I got money saved up. I would like to get some heads. Don't know what kind, problem some custom ones from the shop doing my dyno.

i would get some afr 205's and then get some lca's, torque arm, and a couple other suspension parts to put your power to the ground unless you have them already then just save the money

5 Grand huh?
There's a complete LS1 Procharger F1 setup for F-bodies on Ebay right now. It's the second time it's been listed and seller has it at $3,500. You can win that for maybe $3,700 and have cash left over towards injectors, fuel pump, and tune
How about a nice MAF Wet Nitrous setup, injectors, pump, drag wheels with Hoosier QTP's, PRC heads and a tune? Your car would be a monster!

personally 5k is not enough to go fi they way you should. buy a built bottom end, sell your block etc. i would get it off this site. shouldnt be hard at all. sell your old **** and get a good direct port setup then do weight reduction you can feel and enjoy every day. nice race seats(used) and steering wheel. finish suspension. call it good. lightweight breaks less parts and goes faster more reliable... remember that.
