Default 6.0L vortec live at 6900+

What is needed to make a 6.0/l92 combo live at 6900+ RPM? In the car craft article they tested the combo i want to 7000+ with the GMPP intake and carb but i believe they mentioned that it wont live forever at those rpms(may have been the 5.3 article but same principal). And also to pick up a set of forged pistons and rods. Can anyone give me a professional opinion? I was more worried about the valvetrain, but after thats taken care of what exactly can the bottom end take? and what are the recomended upgrades for street/strip use, hardly if ever seeing them on the street?

I have taken my 6.0L short block to 7500 5 times on the dyno, and it has seen 7200 RPM shifts over 75 passes, and about 5 bottle's of a 150 hit! and my short block has valve relief's for my milled L92 heads and MS4 cam.

Mods to the short block were as followed.

stock 07 crank rods and pistons, crank was polished and oil holes chamfered. clevite
bearings were used. ARP 2000 rod bolts, stock ring pack.

Moral's new High Rev lifters were used, MS4 cam set in at 108 lsa, ported LS6 pump, DR chain, stock rockers, Manley custom hollow stem valves, GMPP UNPORTED intake milled to fit the heads, heads were UNPORTED L92's(they are getting ported this winter) and a edelbrock low profile elbow with a holley 90MM throttle body.

I am not sure where you are from, but PM and I will head you in the direction of who does my engines..

so I will end with, They take more than most think lol

On a second note, what is the failure point of the valve train? what will i need for that? I dont really want to spend a ton on aftermarket parts so whatever i can use thats GM or i can get used will help. Im planning on spending a lot on the motor but not everything i have either. Any help appreciated! thanks so far
