Default want to be close to 500 wheel

as of now i have 1997 corvette with a forged bottom end 346 with -4cc pistons a ms4 cam 5.3l stage 2.5 heads milled to 59cc, a ls6 intake stock throttle body and mass air flow vararam intake and ud pulley

car put down 438whp and 389wtq
car is running kinda rich

was looking at the new street warrior intake, already have a ls2 throttle body
and maybe a better cam plus i am pullin my heads for a better valve job and more milling plus the car has nitrous

so if you can help me get close to 500whp it woulld be appreciated thank you (open to all opinions)

ported FAST 92/92 would probably pick up 15-20hp

not sure how much bigger you can go with the cam if you're planning to mill the heads more.

i would put money into better heads...like some TFS 215s milled or the AFRs milled

but to reach 500rwhp you'll need to go max effort....underdrive, electric water pump, max compression, GREAT tune....

Better heads, better cam, better in take, better tune

All will get you where you want to be. Power costs money.

You'll need to make a few changes and spend some money bro. My combo made 490 rwhp with combo in my sig. Lots of speculation that I might have hit the magic 500 rwhp mark if I had TFS 215's. That was on a stock bottom end too. Louis at LG Motorsports did every thing he could to make my car produce, but in the end I fell short. With that being said though, the car ran great and even though it had a BIG cam in it she was quite friendly to drive with some practice.

How about you revise your goal of 500 rwhp and make a few changes that include making more power but also improves drivability. Also conentrate on changes that make power under curve. A good tuner will be a must.

JMO's Good luck.

Not a good attitude for your goal. You drive an LSX you should have the attitude "Whatever it takes!". Good luck on your goals Depends really if you are dead set on having 500 rwhp period or having it 500 rwhp NA. With nitrous or FI 500 hp is easy

find someone with a car that has 500hp and stand next to it, you will be close to 500hp then.
seriously though you should look into vengeance racing, they offer heads and cam combos that willl get you to your goal. You will however need to have the supporting mods to do it. You DO NOT need an electric water pump to get close to 500hp. Like everyone else has said also, a good tuner is a must.
